A little more about Me
My Begining
On leaving Lambeth Council after 13 yrs of working my up to be a E grade gardener ( Craftmen Gardener/green keeper ) in the early 90s and late 80s . I thought I better My self by applying to work in one of the Royal Parks in London.
I was already qualified to their standards ie having studied for city and guilds for 3 yrs and numerous Local Authorities exams to make up my grade
This was the best choice i made as I could see the foundations of the Local borough crumbling underneath my feet.
It was hard at first having worked for 13 yrs to go into something new
Little More About ME

In the mid 90s all that ended with the privatsation of the Parks and Open spaces and half of Us including Me where laid off .
But fortunately for me I was able to spring back on on my feet as I was helping both my neigbours and their friends with their garden at the same time.And as the news got around of my plight more work was starting to come in from word of mouth & hence the begining of RS Gardening Services
Little More about Me
Going it alone .
IWith My redundancy pay I decided to invest it improving my knowledge of horticulture to the limit by attending a day release course in Gardening given by the RHS and after a year of hard studying and doing a little private work here and there I thought the time was right to go it alone

Today I still own and run RS Gardening Services as an single adventure.
Yet with all new technology that coming in these days its hard to keep up with the trends
I'm a old school gardener but am willing to take on new trends cause as always the old methods don't always work
As to my believes I always go by what my father told me
" Always replace what you take out of the soil "
